Their distress signal was found by the Ragnarok’s Herald, a Fenrisian Cruiser that has been experiencing some distress of its own. stranded in enemy space with an ailing crew under radiation quarantine, the three pilots are their best chance to find safe harbor and a new doctor.
The welcome for the knights has not been warm. Whispers of them being deserters run easily from the crew’s lips. The truth lies in the hands of fighter pit mechanics Tawny and Carlos, who’ve hatched a clandestine plan to recover the corrupted flight recorder data from the lancers.
Everything hinges on a battle to break through the Drogahri’s red line. first lieutenant Mattrick was caught off guard by the presence of a second interdictor ship that could spell disaster for The Rock’s escape.
