Rolf: Mutts were not always allowed to be knights, but the last war really put a lot of scrutiny on the old caste system. Everyone served, including mutts. Times have changed.
Some people didn't think my squire Jake would ever be a knight, but he finished the same training as the wolves and purebreds. Eugenics don't control his desitny.
Our past scars may not be fully healed, but he still has a deep love for his house and people. I admire his optimism, even if he lacks experience.
