He honors God, and follows his spiritual convictions

Loyalty
He serves his house and lord with trust, and defends his companions

Justice
He defends the innocent and defenseless, and punishes evil

Charity
He ensures quarter for widows, orphans and the wounded

Prudence
He does not seek to cause unnecessary offense or conflict

Wisdom
He is careful in his judgments, and reveres the counsel of his elders

Temperance
He abstains from intoxication and belligerence

Resolve
He remains steadfast to his commitments in spite of adversity

Honesty
He searches for the truth, and does not deceive his peers

Benevolence
He uses power for the well being of his people, not personal enrichment

Bravery
He does not turn his back in battle, and accepts a challenge by his equal

Valor
He treats the defeated with dignity, and brings glory to his banner
